Apple has just launched Apple Intelligence, but it is already thinking about the additional features it will add to compatible devices. Apple is currently testing iOS 18.2 in beta, and this beta version includes other new AI features, including the integration of ChatGPT with Siri, announced in June at the WWDC conference. In essence, it will be possible to interact with ChatGPT through the Siri assistant, without having to open the OpenAI application. Apple had also announced an integration of ChatGPT with the writing assistance tools of its iOS, iPadOS and macOS platforms.
But if you think Apple is paying OpenAI to make ChatGPT easier for iPhone, iPad, and Mac users to access, you might be wrong. The financial terms of the deal between Apple and OpenAI have never been officially discussed, but rumors suggest it’s a win-win deal, with no financial transaction involved. Indeed, integrating ChatGPT into Apple’s platforms will allow OpenAI to grow its user base and encourage more people to sign up for a paid ChatGPT Plus subscription. Indeed, when a person uses this subscription, the benefits of the paid version will also be available on integrations with Apple products.

As for Apple, it will be able to generate significant revenue by taking a commission on ChatGPT Plus subscriptions, as it does with other developers.
200% Deposit Bonus up to €3,000 180% First Deposit Bonus up to $20,000Apple recently released a second beta version of iOS 18.2. And as reported by the site 9to5Mac, among the new features of this second beta, there is a new option in the iOS settings that allows you to switch from a free ChatGPT account to a paid account. This new option to switch to ChatGPT Plus would be available in the Apple Intelligence and Siri settings, in the iPhone settings.

Otherwise, it should be remembered that for the moment, Apple Intelligence is not available on iPhone and iPad in the European Union and therefore, EU users will not yet be able to take advantage of this ChatGPT integration on these devices. Indeed, Apple must first ensure that Apple Intelligence complies with the rules of the Digital Markets Act before deploying this product.
