New AirPods in the works at Apple ? This is the crazy rumor that has been circulating for several weeks around the company's next event. It's not one, not two, but three AirPods models that could well be unveiled during the next Apple keynote. This rumor is notably fueled by several industry experts such as Mark Gurman and Ming-Chi Kuo, respectively a journalist for Bloomberg and an analyst specializing in Apple. According to them, Apple is planning three distinct AirPods models:
200% Deposit Bonus up to €3,000
180% First Deposit Bonus up to $20,000
The AirPods 4. The latter would still have an “open” design and would succeed the third generation launched in 2021.
A new version of the AirPods 4 whose name we still don't know. It would take the design of the classic AirPods 4, but add a feature noise reduction as found on the AirPods Pro.
The AirPods Max 2. Certainly among the most anticipated announcements as the first generation (launched in 2020) is somewhat behind the competition with its Lightning port and its fairly high weight. Two characteristics that should be corrected with the second generation at coming soon.
A few weeks ago, we also mentioned a new technology for the upcoming AirPods. Apple would like to add an infrared camera system to its next headphones to greatly improve the spatial audio technology of the AirPods.
The addition of such technology could however have an impact on the price of these new AirPods 4 and we will have to wait until the Apple keynote on September 9 to learn more about them.
