Giving up these augmented reality features has a main advantage that could end up convincing Apple, and especially its customers: it considerably reduces the bill. Samsung is also in the game

In any case, it is not the only company to be interested in this market which seems very promising. Recently, the CEO of Qualcomm confirmed that a project of connected glasses is also being considered by Samsung, which will probably collaborate with Google. We will not know more for the moment.
