Apple Watch Series 10: the connected watch could be deprived of certain features at launch

The latest information regarding the Apple Watch Series 10 shows a new design, but several features unavailable at its launch.

This year, we will celebrate the 10th version of the Apple Watch. One of the most famous smartwatches in the world should (according to our information) benefit from a new generation coming at the end of 2024. In addition to several design innovations, the Apple Watch Series 10 could also have new features focused on user health. The only downside: these latter would be unavailable at the launch of the watch.

In the latest newsletter of the Bloomberg media, journalist Mark Gurman specifies that two new Apple Watch Series 10 models are planned this year. The latter already have code names N217 and N218, should notably have some small changes in terms of the design of the connected watch. The Apple Watch Series 10 is said to feature a larger screen that is close to the display surface of the Apple Watch Ultra, but with a smaller overall size.

In addition to these small design changes, the new Apple Watch Series 10 is also said to feature several new health options. The leaked information mentions blood pressure monitoring and sleep apnea monitoring in particular.

Unfortunately, the latest report Bloomberg reports that internal testing of these new features does not appear to be going as planned. This could force Apple to delay the release of these new features and not include them in the launch of the Apple Watch Series 10.

The Apple Watch Series 10 is still expected to launch in September alongside the iPhone 16 and Apple Watch Ultra 3.
