At Midi Libre with specialist schools: discovering the jobs of tomorrow in the cultural and creative industries

Spread the love

Une journée pour s’initier aux métiers de l’audiovisuel. Midi Libre – JEAN-MICHEL MART

Tournages de films ou séries : un écosystème est né en région, les formations suivent. Présentation ce vendredi, au siège de Midi Libre.

We never stop, and rightly so, highlighting the impacts, in terms of economic spinoffs, employment or training, of the development of the audiovisual sector in Occitanie, and in the former Languedoc-Roussillon in particular.

200% Deposit Bonus up to €3,000 180% First Deposit Bonus up to $20,000

Whether it is the filming of series (including three daily ones while waiting for a fourth) or feature films, the number and quality of which have placed the region in majesty on the map of French cinema.

A day of immersion

Logically, the cultural and creative industries (ICCs) are constantly developing and expanding in these territories, particularly in the departments of Gard and Hérault.

A boom that Midi Libre supports and which we regularly report on in our columns. And in our premises too.
This is how this Friday an immersion day around these ICCs is organized at the newspaper's headquarters in Saint-Jean-de-Védas, in order to discover and introduce the training and professions in these sectors.

Waterfalls, green screens, special effects…

Thus, approximately 250 students from five high schools in Hérault (Sète, Sérignan, Lattes and Montpellier), and Gard (Nîmes), will be able, among other workshops, conferences and round tables, to learn the techniques of theater actors or those of special makeup effects, to learn during a demonstration of sound mixing or green screen incrustations, to enter the heart of the creation of a film animation, a storyboard or the execution of a stunt.

All with the participation and support of specialized schools in the region (*), innovative and cutting-edge, some recent others permanently established in the landscape. And which train the technicians and artists of tomorrow.

Esma, Travelling, Acoustik, Objectif 3D, Artfx, E-Artsup, Ynov, Cours Florent, média Live Studio and the Occitanie Region.
