Ah, Paris Fashion Week… It’s the unmissable event for fashion lovers. This Sunday, January 26, 2025 marked the remarkable return of designer Jacquemus to this emblematic event in the capital. And he didn’t do things by halves.

Convinced that it is possible to combine technology and fashion, Jacquemus proposed an unusual fashion show to present his Fall/Winter 2025 collection. While the presence of smartphones in public events is increasingly criticized, the designer took the opposite approach. Indeed, Jacquemus’ “La Croisière” fashion show was filmed entirely on an iPhone.

A fashion show filmed on an iPhone (and nothing else)

While professional cameras and camcorders are normally de rigueur during Paris Fashion Week, the designer from Salon-de-Provence did without them for his latest fashion show.

Since launching Jacquemus, the designer has accustomed us to a formidably modern communication style, particularly on Instagram, far from the codes of other fashion houses. It is therefore not surprising to see him breaking the codes of fashion once again for this new Fashion Week.

Jacquemus has therefore opted for an exclusive partnership with Apple. The “La Croisière” fashion show was therefore entirely filmed with around fifteen iPhone 16 Pro Max. We are talking about the cream of the crop from the Cupertino company in order to be able to capture the fashion show in 4K at 120 FPS with Dolby Vision or to create cinematic slow motion worthy of the name. The iPhone 16 Pro Max has nothing to be ashamed of in terms of its features and its telephoto lens is particularly effective in bringing out the best of the new Jacquemus collection. Those who were not lucky enough to attend the event were able to discover it in streaming with a slight delay at 7:30 p.m. while a 10-minute reel showing the highlights was published on Instagram.
