“This exhibition invites the public to delve into the heart of our agricultural heritage through faces that embody the soul and wealth of our territory”, indicated Franck Proust, president of Nîmes Métropole, during the opening of the exhibition.

Resilience and know-how

With her artistic sensitivity, Karima M highlights the beauty of our local agriculture and the crucial importance of our food sovereignty. Our agricultural land is an integral part of our DNA and the wealth that makes us famous around the world. This exhibition is a vibrant tribute to those who feed us, these portraits capture the passion, resilience and know-how of these women and men who cultivate our local identity. Each photo tells a story, a commitment that is forged day after day to protect and promote our agricultural heritage.

The exhibition “Roots in the Heart of the Earth” is on display at the Halles de Nîmes until January 15, 2025.
