The events allegedly occurred around 5:45 p.m., on Boulevard Maurice-Barrès. A place that is nevertheless very busy during the day, “not really criminogenic" either nightfall, a regular at the place confided to the Parisien . In her story, the young woman explains that she was then grabbed by the collar of her sweater by her attacker. Pinned against a tree by the individual, she then allegedly heard him tell her that he “wanted” her. In the process, the attacker allegedly pulled down his victim's shorts before ripping off her panties. The woman who had a slight injury to her cheek when she filed her complaint explained that she had struck her attacker in the lower abdomen and managed to escape.

An investigation for attempted rape has been opened. “The Nanterre prosecutor's office, which was the first to be notified, has relinquished jurisdiction to the Paris prosecutor's office, which has territorial jurisdiction,” the Paris prosecutor's office said. The first district of the Paris judicial police is in charge of the case. Tuesday at 4 p.m., Le Parisien reported that no suspects had yet been arrested.
