A lively and friendly event

“There are 24 of us from Lodévois and Larzac, farmers, breeders and artisans grouped together in the very short circuit approach, who take turns running this shop in the city center, says Virginie, a caterer in Sorbs who has been offering her plant-based and gluten-free pastries for two years. We are responding to a demand from people who want local and well-made products, sold directly.”

Camille, from the Brasserie du Larzac, arrived in 2020 after the acquisition of the family business of artisanal production of organic beer. She confirms: “I have seen the progression in four years. This shop is the grocery store of everyday life, a local place, with some customers who come every day.” Maxime, a beekeeper in Lunas, joined the collective a year and a half ago with his honey and hive products: “A place became available, I had just set up and it was an opportunity to test the state of demand in direct contact with the consumer and to develop other sales channels.”

Everyone wanted to boost the store around a lively and friendly event. “Around the discovery of our products, our professions with activities to take the time to exchange, to share” note the producers, with the desire to then chain an event per season.

For the launch, this Saturday December 14, the entertainment will be provided by Céline from La fée confiot. Les P’Tits Producteurs will also welcome in front of the shop, Place de la République from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Point Clef (Soumont) and Bi’o Serre de Lou Farayo (Saint-Étienne-de-Gourgas) nurseries with a range of fruit trees, berries and edible plants… And advice for winter plantings.
