The Chinese company is counting on nostalgia once again by announcing the launch of the DM13, a portable CD player reminiscent of the iconic Discman from the 90s.
The return of CD players
The launch of a portable CD player in 2024 testifies to this return to favor silver pancakes, a medium that is still slightly more reliable than cassettes where the tape quickly ends up wearing out.

The player also has analog and digital line outputs SPDIF, as well as a USB connection, providing great versatility. We typically imagine being able to use it in nomadic mode with its battery offering 8 hours of listening time, or in office mode allowing it to be connected to a HiFi system.
Compatible with FLAC, WAV, WMA, AAC and MP3 formats, the DM13 will be marketed from September at a price of €179. It will first be available in a silver finish, before arriving in red, blue, titanium and black colors by the end of the year.
