This shell-shaped beach (“concha” in Spanish) is the symbol of San Sebastián. As early as 1945, Queen Isabella II came here to bathe in the sea, bringing Spanish high society in her wake… With its elegant balustrade and Belle Époque buildings, La Concha is one of the most beautiful bays in the world.
