IN BRIEF

  • In March 2022, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez purchased a luxury villa in Pacific Palisades for $65 million.
  • The villa, called The Bellagio Estate, has ten bedrooms, seventeen bathrooms, and many luxury amenities.
  • Despite its attractions, the house is on sale for 68 million dollars after their divorce, without finding a buyer.

It was supposed to be their cozy nest, but it ended up being the scene of their separation. After their unexpected rekindling of love, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez bought themselves a luxury villa. For $65 million, the singer and actor bought a house in the Hollywood Heights. In March 2022, they moved to Pacific Palisades, a popular neighborhood with celebrities that is now ravaged by the monster fires that are running through Los Angeles.

Named The Bellagio Estate, the villa is full of gadgets. Notably not one but four kitchens! In total, it also has ten bedrooms and seventeen bathrooms. Perfect for not stepping on each other's toes in the morning! This home was originally built in the 1930s by Paul Williams, long considered as “one of Los Angeles' most important architects”, but has since undergone major renovations.

Swimming pool, gym… the house of excess

The master suite features a living room, double bathrooms, and walk-in closets. In addition to the many living spaces, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's mansion also features a host of luxury amenities, including a wine cellar, fireplaces, an infinity pool, and a home theater. While the Bellagio estate offers stunning views of the city, its 2.5 acres also overlook the Bel Air Country Club’s posh golf course.

And that’s not all! The home also includes a separate penthouse for guests, a caretaker's house, a two-bedroom guardhouse, a 12-car garage, and parking for 80 vehicles. In the guesthouse, overnight guests can enjoy two bedrooms and four bathrooms with a Japanese-style bathtub. For workout junkies, there's a massive gym on the lower level.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have found new homes

But this luxurious home will not have been the one of love… Because just a few months after getting married, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck divorced. Before their separation was even official, they put this Pacific Palisades house back on the market. And more than a hundred days later, they still have it on their hands. Put up for sale at $68 million, it has still not found a lessee.

Since their divorce, both Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have found new properties. The actor, for his part, bought a bachelor pad for over $20 million in Pacific Palisades. His ex-wife, for her part, was “in negotiations to purchase” a sublime mansion in Beverly Hills for $55 million. Separated, all they have left is sell this home of love that will not have really brought them luck.
