Black Friday 2024 does not officially have an official date or announcement since the event does not have a particular organizer. However, it is quite easy to predict when the next edition will fall, since the event follows a fairly simple calendar. Black Friday always falls on the last Friday of November, after Thanksgiving in the United States.
Based on this principle, it is possible to predictthe official date of Black Friday 2024 is around Friday, November 29, 2024. However, it is possible to find different offers now, as was the case during the previous edition, with several sites offering promotions stamped “Black Friday Week” or “previews”.
Black Friday has not yet launched this year. However, we suggest you find the best deals already available on several products. Cell phones, computers, AirPods, household appliances… It's all there!
Black Friday is a commercial operation that can involve any business, physical or dematerialized. In France, it is regularly possible to find the same participants each year. During previous editions of Black Friday, promotions were visible at certain brands such as Fnac, Darty, Boulanger, CDiscount, and many others. Some specialist stores like Zara, Electro Dépôt and Castorama also regularly take part in Black Friday.
200% Deposit Bonus up to €3,000 180% First Deposit Bonus up to $20,000Black Friday is an operation largely led by Amazon. The e-commerce giant often gives the green light to the operation by offering promotions from the beginning of November. Concerned about such a monopoly on the online economy, some French brands launched a response to Black Friday a few years ago with the “French Days” promotions. Organized twice a year, this operation is now anchored as a “mini Black Friday in France”.
The tradition of Black Friday as we know it today dates back to the 50s and 60s. At the time, many retailers offered a day punctuated by multiple promotions across several cities in the United States. The Philadelphia police then decided to use the expression “Black Friday” to describe this day that follows the Thanksgiving festivities. This name then allows the city's police to anticipate this day as very busy. in terms of crowd movements and traffic jams.
The expression “Black Friday”, however, does not seem to suit retailers who consider the name too pejorative. Several stores in the city of Philadelphia will try, in vain, to circulate the name “Big Friday”, but without much success. It will finally be decided to give another origin to the name “Black Friday”: a day when merchants are emerging from the economic deficit and are therefore filling their account books with black ink rather than red.
The concept takes off and Black Friday soon spreads across the country in the late 90s before reaching the rest of the globe thanks to e-commerce giants like Amazon. Nowadays, Black Friday even extends over several weeks with discounts that can be found until mid-December.
Traditionally, Black Friday is followed by a final day of promotions called “Cyber Monday”. Although this tradition is not followed by all Black Friday participants, it allows some merchants to offer final offers on different products. Without being reserved for online stores, Cyber Monday stands out more on the internet than in physical stores.
And for good reason: Cyber Monday primarily offers promotions on high-tech products. These can involve several types of offers. If you're looking for big discounts on laptops, video games, or tablets, Cyber Monday may be the ultimate opportunity to splurge

Black Friday allows merchants to offer crazy prices on several devices. The Google Pixel 8a, released only a few months ago, is a good example. The phone is listed for only 229 euros on the RedBySFR website with a trade-in bonus and refund offer. Check the legal notices carefully before you crack because you will have to return an old phone to take advantage of this exceptional price.
Black Friday doesn't start for another few days, but some very interesting offers are already available. The iPhone 16 is notably offered at 809 euros on Rakuten using the promo code CLUBR30. Be careful because this offer expires this Tuesday at 11:59 p.m.!
