Black Friday 2024 is coming back soon, but the participants in the operation are not waiting to offer promotions. Sites like Fnac, Rakuten or Amazon are already offering some deals before the official launch of Black Friday promotions.
Traditionally, Black Friday is organized around the last weeks of November. However, the first deals could be put online in a few days!
Among the most sought-after products for Black Friday 2024, we find unsurprisingly the Sony PS5 which also has a new version: the PS5 Pro. While the latter is unlikely to be sold off during the event, it is quite common for Sony to offer packs with promotions during Black Friday. The other big product that is flying off the shelves during this period comes from Apple and it is the AirPods. Expect great deals on wireless headphones during Black Friday.
Discover all the information you need to know about Black Friday 2024 as well as the official date, first offers and potential participants in the operation.

Black Friday 2024 does not officially have an official date or announcement since the&# 39;éevent does not have a particular organizer. It is, however, quite easy to predict when the next edition will fall, since the event follows a fairly simple calendar. The date of the Black Friday always falls on the last Friday of November, after Thanksgiving in the United States.
Based on this principle, it is possible to predict the official date of Black Friday 2024 around Friday, November 29, 2024. However, you will have to count on different offers from the beginning of the month, as was the case during the previous edition, where several sites had promotions stamped “Black Friday Week”.
Black Friday has not yet launched this year. However, we suggest you find the best offers already available on several products. Cell phones, computers, AirPods, household appliances… It's all there!
Black Friday is a commercial operation that can involve any business, physical or dematerialized. In France, it is regularly possible to find the same participants each year. During previous editions of Black Friday, promotions were visible at certain brands such as Fnac, Darty, Boulanger, CDiscount, and many others. Some specialist stores like Zara, Electro Dépôt and Castorama also regularly take part in Black Friday.
Black Friday is an operation largely led by Amazon. The e-commerce giant often gives the green light to the operation by offering promotions from the beginning of November. Concerned about such a monopoly on the online economy, some French brands launched a response to Black Friday a few years ago with the “French Days” promotions. Organized twice a year, this operation is now anchored as a “mini Black Friday à la française”.
The tradition of Black Friday as we know it today dates back to the 50s and 60s. At the time, many retailers offered a day punctuated by multiple promotions across several cities in the United States. The Philadelphia police then decided to use the expression “Black Friday” to describe this day that follows the Thanksgiving festivities. This name then allows the city's police to anticipate this day as very busy. in terms of crowd movements and traffic jams.
The expression “Black Friday”, however, does not seem to suit retailers who consider the name too pejorative. Several stores in the city of Philadelphia will try, in vain, to circulate the name “Big Friday”, but without much success. It will finally be decided to give another origin to the name “Black Friday”: a day when merchants are emerging from the economic deficit and are therefore filling their account books with black ink rather than red.
The concept takes off and Black Friday soon spreads across the country towards the end of the 90s before reaching the rest of the globe thanks to e-commerce giants like Amazon. Nowadays, Black Friday even extends over several weeks with discounts that can be found until mid-December.
Traditionally, Black Friday is followed by a final day of promotions called “Cyber Monday”. Although this tradition is not followed by all Black Friday participants, it allows some merchants to offer final offers on different products. Without being reserved for online stores, Cyber Monday stands out more on the internet than in physical stores.
And for good reason: Cyber Monday primarily offers promotions on high-tech products. These can involve several types of offers. If you are looking for big discounts on laptops, video games or tablets, Cyber Monday can be the ultimate opportunity to crack
