IN BRIEF

  • At the beginning of October, Tiphaine Auzière, lawyer and daughter of Brigitte Macron, joined Touche pas à mon poste to comment on legal news every week.
  • During a presentation on cybercrime, she was caught off guard by a question from Cyril Hanouna
  • During her presentation, Tiphaine Auzière also revived a forgotten scandal

In early October, Tiphaine Auzière, a lawyer by profession and daughter of Brigitte Macron, officially joined the ranks of the columnists of Touche pas &agrave my post to comment legal news on a weekly basis. This Thursday, December 12, she spoke on the topic of cybercrime, discussing the different methods hackers use to wreak havoc on the Web.

The subject being rather technical, Tiphaine Auzière was deciphering the terms used to designate the different illegal practices in cybercrime – happy slapping, phishing, skipping, carding… – when Cyril Hanouna asked her a tricky question. “What is ‘jackpotting’ ?”, asks the host the lawyer. “Huh ?”, replies Tiphaine Auzière, clearly lost. “I don't know what it is anymore, but I'll find it”, she adds, searching through her files.

TPMP: Tiphaine Auzière flounders and the set has fun

By not finding the definition of the word, Tiphaine Auzière has gone all out by putting Cyril Hanouna in front of a fait accompli. “Well tell me Cyril, because you seem to know it! ”. And the host replied: “Me, I'm not here to &accedil;a”.

So no one on the set seemed to know the term. A hesitation that didn't fail to make the set laugh. “I don't have that one anymore, there was a small loss”, admits Tiphaine Auzière, amused. For your information, “jackpotting” consists of hack ATMs with a laptop.

Tiphaine Auzière evokes an almost forgotten case in TPMP

During her intervention in TPMP this Thursday evening, Tiphaine Auzière also revived an old memory by evoking a case that we thought was forgotten. Indeed, to illustrate the unreliability of encrypted messaging, the magistrate mentioned the name of Benjamin Griveaux, who has disappeared from the radar for several years.

Of course, the public immediately remembered the 2020 scandal during which intimate videos of the former government spokesperson were leaked, forcing the latter to leave political life. Today, Benjamin Griveaux has turned to entrepreneurship and has more than 20,000 followers on Instagram.
