Alice Detollenaere has once again been on the operating table. Four years after having been operated on following her breast cancer, Camille Lacourt's partner has in fact taken the decision to go back to see her doctor.

It was on Instagram, on Sunday, January 5, 2025, that she confided on this subject. The cause ? A discomfort felt since her last operation. “Since my last operation, I have discomfort due to the implant with which the breast was reconstructed. ÇI have been hesitating to go back for four years.” she explained.

If she took time to make a decision, it is because such an operation “always involves risks”. “Already because I don't want to and then because it always involves risks. In my case they are only “aesthetic”. If for example the operation fails, I could end up without breasts.” added Alice Detollenaere. Despite everything, determined to go through with it, the 32-year-old woman hopes that the result will be positive.

“After weighing the pros and cons, I prefer to try and stay optimistic. Aesthetics yes, but not at the cost of well-being. Result, operation tomorrow morning left breast and right breast. We reduce everything by half, hoping to wake up with energy.” a specified the former beauty queen. Note that it was in Paris that Alice Detollenaere chose to have the operation. She therefore took the train with her lover to undergo this stage.

Alice Detollenaere: the choice of preventive ablation

As a reminder, it was a few months after her love affair with the swimming champion that the 32-year-old woman was struck by breast cancer. A fight waged in a relationship that she recounts in her book “Healed by your love”. Susceptible to experiencing a recurrence, Alice Detollenaere had taken the decision to undergo a preventive removal of her second breast. She then underwent reconstructive surgery.
