This time, it's done. Marvel has just released a first trailer for Captain America: Brave New World. This is therefore the ideal time to review the various information we already have on this production. A quick overview.

After Deadpool 3 which will be launched on July 24, the Marvel cinematic universe will offer us Captain America: Brave New World< /em> from February 12, 2025 in French cinemas.

If the official synopsis is not known, the director, Julius Onah, portrayed his film as a “thriller paranoid” where Sam Wilson, the new Captain America, will be “at the center and he's now in this position where he's a leader and he has to face this challenge of what it means to lead a group of people that he really cares about”.

In the first trailer released, we see a tense meeting at the White House where the superhero faces off against newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross. “Their alliance is threatened as Sam Wilson finds himself at the center of an international incident, with his friend and retired super-soldier Isaiah Bradley as the prime suspect. Sam's investigation leads him into a dangerous chase, and the trailer ends with a deadly showdown and a glimpse of the menacing Red Hulk, Marvel explains.

These first images are certainly intriguing. While Captain America is clearly not the most captivating character in comics, the studio has already proven in the past that adaptations can be worth the detour. They often involve exciting political plots and intrigues.

What casting for this new part ?

< p>The least we can say is that Marvel is pulling out all the stops for this opus. We will thus have the pleasure of seeing Anthony Mackie again in the role of the Captain. “It’is a great lesson in humility to appear as the main character for the first time, in a film, being in this universe for so long”, explained the latter in 2022.

Alongside him and as we can see in the trailer, Harrison Ford plays Thaddeus Ross, the President of the United States. Let us also mention Tim Blake Nelson (Ghosted), Shira Haas (Bodies), Danny Ramirez (The Last of Us), Liv Tyler (Ad Astra), Mark Ruffalo (Zodiac), or even Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad).
