A young cat, missing for two months, was reunited with his family, who now live in Vendée, this Tuesday, December 24, 2024. He was found by a resident of Cholet (Maine-et-Loire) in her garage.
Minato, a young 3-year-old cat, was found “lost and in distress” by a resident of Cholet (Maine-et-Loire) in her garage, reports Ouest-France.
After feeding him, she noticed that his fur was long and his tail was damaged, indicating that he had been outside for some time. Marcela Bausson, a volunteer at the Cholet SPA, then stepped in to help.
Using her reader, she discovers that he has a microchip. “Bingo, he could have been identified by a vet!”, she rejoices. Quickly, the real owner, now settled in Vendée, is contacted.
“She immediately spoke of a Christmas miracle. She had looked for him everywhere, without success, and she was so happy”, continues Marcela Bausson. Indeed, Minato had been missing for two months, after escaping during a move.
“He never left the house. A door had been left open and he had been scared because of the noise of the furniture…”, explains the owner.
