The president of the Hérault Chamber of Commerce and Industry, André Deljarry, presented his wishes on Tuesday, January 28 at the exhibition center in Béziers.
It was in front of more than 300 guests, including traders, artisans, entrepreneurs, managers, etc., but also elected officials and local personalities that André Deljarry, the president of the Hérault Chamber of Commerce and Industry, presented his wishes on Tuesday, January 28, at 7 p.m., at the city's exhibition center. Present, among others, were the sub-prefect of Béziers, Jacques Lucbereilh, the mayor and president of the Agglo, Robert Ménard, the regional councilor representing the president of the Region Carole Delga, Thierry Mathieu, the vice-president of the Department representing the president Kléber Mesquida, Jacques Rigaud. On the stage, the president was surrounded by various local elected representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The president had expressed these same wishes the day before at the Corum in Montpellier.
The ceremony began with the viewing of a promotional film presenting the various actions and missions of the CCI. The President's speech followed, with the leitmotif of the expression “give voice” , the one that the CCI will use for “a more peaceful future for managers, make the needs of businesses heard, and train young people “.
200% Deposit Bonus up to €3,000 180% First Deposit Bonus up to $20,000He began by recalling a year 2025 opening on “a tense economic context” . “Political and budgetary uncertainty, geopolitical and commercial tensions: the outlook is, it is true, more limited”, he declared.
One could have believed then that pessimism would color the remarks that followed. That was to misunderstand André Deljarry, his loud, strong, dynamic words, who wanted to be resolutely optimistic for the year to come.
After having insisted on the primary mission of the CCI, “a guide and a facilitator”, for business leaders, he indicated:“2025 will undoubtedly be a year of transitions […]. We have a vision for the region. To do this, we can rely on strong, valuable markers to better resist and imagine a clearer horizon.” And to cite the five major pillars on which the CCI and its partners are working, the first being the development of industry, and in particular renewable energies. “With a strong focus on hydrogen in the Béziers region thanks to Genvia and SLB, under the Eden collective and with the support of the Pulse attractiveness agency”, the attractiveness and economic development agency created in 2023 by the Agglo. “With Pulse, the Biterrois is now equipped with a pragmatic tool to meet the needs of businesses and territories”, an agency in which the CCI is involved with the presence of Mathieu Dossat in the office.
André Deljarry also recalled the Intersud trade fair, “a central event to connect major industrial buyers and our local gems”, which will take place on June 4 at the Béziers exhibition center. “An event like this generates nearly 5 million euros in orders for our local SMEs.”
After saying a few words about the other four “pillars” – the blue economy, cultural and creative industries, digital and artificial intelligence, Med Vallée – the president highlighted the projects or works, completed or to come “to revive the sector” in collaboration with communities, unions, associations, the State, federations… What he called “playing collectively”. Among others, the future TGV station on the Biterrois “a real necessity in terms of attractiveness”; the creation of the trade office in Béziers, to revive the city center; the work of reflection carried out to “rethink the models” in the tourism and catering sector, in collaboration with the presidents of the coastal intercommunalities (Alain Caralp, CC La Domitienne; Robert Ménard; Sébastien Frey, Hérault Méditerranée; François Commeinhes, Sète Agglopôle).
“We also speak out for training”, “necessary for the company”, that of the new generations. With a particular focus, concerning the Biterrois on the CFA Purple campus: “Béziers is the largest of our CFA in Occitanie with its 1,000 apprentices”. He ended with the Montpellier campus project Anima, a site that will bring together Montpellier Business School, the CFA Purple campus, the CCI Hérault and the Occitanie branch in the Cambacérès district.
