On the eve of Christmas Eve, the Christmas festivities continue in the streets of Alès, with a program that is likely to interest families and young children this Monday, December 23.

Music, rides and Christmas baubles

Parvis du Cratère, alongside the Christmas market open between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Santa's chalet for photos (2 p.m. to 6 p.m.), a free Christmas bauble-making workshop is offered to children (from 3 years old) from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. For those who like a stronger thrill, the synthetic ice rink is open on Place des Martyrs-de-la-Résistance (from 10 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., €2, skates provided) as well as the funfair on the fairground (2 p.m. to 8 p.m.).

To get around, the little Christmas train still crosses the city center and takes passengers for free between 10 a.m. and noon and 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Christmas for all in the Cévennes

The streets will also be animated by musical parades (from 10 a.m. to noon and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.) and parades of mascots in the presence of Santa Claus from 2 p.m. at 6 p.m.

A few minutes from the city center, the city is also organizing its Christmas for all in the Cévennes district, with many activities for children from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.: bouncy castle, mascots, laser game, Santa Claus in a horse-drawn carriage, magic show and quad rides. Games that are also announced to be completely free.
