Le président du CER Benjamin-Bardy, Jacques Brajon, a réuni ses adhérents pour leur présenter ses vœux.

In mid-January, President Jacques Brajon invited members of the Benjamin-Bardy study and research center (CER) to a meal at Le Provençal to present his best wishes for 2025.

He immediately expressed his satisfaction with the results of the past year. “I hope that 2025 will be a continuation of 2024“, he added. Indeed, the number of members has reached 210 contributors to which should be added around fifty sympathizers.

The quality of the conferences

In 2024, the CER held twenty-eight conferences on eclectic themes and several cultural outings, not forgetting the souvenir trip to Poland, visiting the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration and extermination camps.

This strong progression is the combination of several elements: the variety of themes discussed, their weekly frequency and the quality of the speakers. “But I do not forget our members. Their unwavering loyalty and the commitment of some particularly dynamic members of the board of directors have undeniably contributed to this great success.”

A bulwark

He also wanted to emphasize: “I would like to add that in this difficult, not to say troubled, period, the associative environment must take a very large place within our society. Our association must be a bulwark against all forms of pessimism. It must also be a place of gathering, respect, fraternity and tolerance. Ultimately, what counts is obviously the time devoted to exchanges, even if culture remains the center of our objectives. The year 2025 must allow our association to continue all of its activities with the same dynamism and influence that it knows.
