Corsica Ferries resumes its connections from Sète to Corsica and the Balearic Islands from mid-April

La première traversée au départ de Sète cette année aura lieu le 11 avril, direction Alcùdia, sur l’île de Majorque. Midi Libre – NICOLAS ZARROUK

After transporting 20,000 passengers in 2024 from Sète, the shipping company is doubling its connections from April to July.

After opening two new lines from Sète in spring 2024, the shipping company Corsica Ferries is continuing its momentum in 2025. Connections from the Singular Island will therefore resume from April 11 for the Balearic Islands and from April 12 for Corsica.

Two departures per week are thus scheduled until July. An increased offer compared to last year: only three return trips to the Isle of Beauty had been scheduled in July and three others in September. “We have doubled the number of stopovers in Sète for 2025 and we have rebalanced demand by planning rotations to Corsica from April”, indicates Fabien Agostini, director of ports at Corsica Ferries.

20,000 passengers departing from Sète in 2024

Last year, the company transported 20,000 passengers departing from the port of Sète. “Encouraging” results for this first year of activity which have prompted Corsica Ferries to offer these connections again in 2025. “We are still keen to reach the western French market and therefore new customers”, says Fabien Agostini. As a reminder, Corsica Ferries had also chosen to set up in Sète for the electrification of the quays of its port in an approach of “zero emission stopovers”.
