Ange-Antoine Agnetti, a forty-year-old Corsican restaurateur, has haven't been seen for a week. This Thursday, a judicial investigation was opened for “kidnapping” and “sequestration”.
It has been a week since Ange-Antoine Agnetti, a 41-year-old Corsican restaurateur, gave no sign of life. He has not been seen since late last Friday afternoon when he reportedly went “fishing, hunting or for a walk”, according to his relatives with the authorities. He reportedly left on foot in the direction of Saint Marie Siché.
The next day, his relatives reported him missing. Citizen searches were then carried out to find him, but in vain. His car was discovered near the village of Campo, near of paths that are very popular with hunters and fishermen in the region. Inside the vehicle was his cell phone and his car keys were on one of the wheels.
On Sunday, an appeal for witnesses was launched by the gendarmes after some aerial searches with helicopter and drones as well as with mountain specialists and a dog team on the ground but they were all unsuccessful. An investigation was then opened for worrying disappearance. According to the description of the gendarmes, the restaurateur is 1m70 tall, weighs 80 kilos and has brown hair. He was wearing shorts, a t-shirt, a black fanny pack and sneakers on the day of his disappearance. He is not known to the justice system, “but his environment is”, according to a police source at France Bleu.
