The Allées market in Béziers

The Christmas spirit takes over the city center of Béziers, until January 5, at the Allées market. The opportunity to stroll, with a mulled wine, among the stands to delight your taste buds and eyes. Gourmet and local products, original creations by artisans… Whether it's for a stroll or to fill your sack, the market welcomes 34 chalets every day from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and until 10:30 p.m. on weekends. Not to be missed: the parade of luminous lanterns, on December 26, at 6 p.m. on the Allées, as well as the concerts every Friday and Saturday.

The magic of Christmas in Pézenas

Several highlights punctuate the city of Molière for this Christmas 2024, whose streets are illuminated and animated by Christmas chalets which offer enchanted scenes on the Place des États du Languedoc and in the Cour d’honneur of the town hall. On December 7, a flavor fair, with artisanal and local products, is organized by the association of traders of rue Conti. And the Christmas market will take place on December 15, in the city center, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Other events that day, rue Conti: Christmas madness, with ugly sweater contests and funny hairstyles, parade of Venetian costumes and Christmas characters.

In Vias, elf workshops and roller dance evening

In addition to the traditional Christmas market of local artisans and producers held every day until January 4, on the Place du 11 Novembre, Vias offers a multitude of free activities. Such as the elf workshops, which offer creative workshops for children, such as making candlesticks, Christmas trees, or creating greeting cards, from December 14 to 27, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Another expected event: Roller Dance evenings, every day, to dance to festive tunes around themes such as “Retro” and “Christmas”.

In Agde, in Occitan mode with the Calandreta d’Agtenca

For its 2nd edition, the bilingual French-Occitan, associative and secular school, La Calandreta d’Agtenca, is setting up its Christmas market in the heart of the Moulin des Évêques, in Agde, on Saturday, December 7, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, December 8, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Around forty local artisans, creators and producers will be present in a festive and friendly atmosphere, indoors, to stay warm, whatever the weather. The market will be enlivened by horse-drawn carriage rides, creative workshops for children, a choir and a show.
