Critérium du Dauphiné 2024: Roglic and Evenepoel expected on the 2nd stage, the ranking

The second stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné this Monday, June 3, arrives at the top of the Col de la Loge

After a first stage won by Mads Pedersen in the sprint, the favorites are expected on the second stage of the Criterium du Dolphin. This Monday, June 3, the runners will leave Gannat and arrive at the summit of the Col de la Loge in a 142 kilometer long stage. The main difficulties are concentrated in the finale with 25 last kilometers uphill in stages. Runners will first have to climb the hillside. from Saint-Georges-en-Couzan (7km & at 5.8%), then after a short flat area the Col de la Croix Ladret (3.1  km & at 5.8%); 6.1%) before the final ascent.

Even if the physical condition of the two runners is still at a loss. judging, Remco Evenepoel and Primoz Roglic are announced as the big favorites of the day. We will also follow the French Dorian Godon (Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale), Valentin Madouas, Romain Grégoire (Groupama-FDJ) or again Warren Barguil (Team dsm-firmenich PostNL), but also à Dylan Teuns (Israel-Premier Tech), Neilson Powless  ;(EF Education-EasyPost).
