January 19, 2022, Gaspard Ulliel died as a result of his skiing accident in Savoie. The 37-year-old actor left behind his former partner Gaëlle Pietri and their son, Orso, who was 6 years old at the time of his father's death. A tragedy that continues to haunt the former model. Indeed, three years after Gaspard Ulliel's death, Gaëlle Pietri paid him a new, moving tribute.
On Instagram, in a story, she revealed a black screen on which three candles are published. And this sentence, ô how difficult: “3 years without a dad for my son”, is it éwritten.
This is not the first time that the young woman pays tribute to the one who meant so much in her life. Indeed, she confided in a book, called The Time to say goodbye to you, published by Grasset, in which she evoked her impossible mourning: “When misfortune targets us, we must manage to remember that we have tasted the sweet, the ineffable joy. You will remain my most beautiful journey, embarked on without a guide, with my eyes closed. Your presence and your absence converge in my heart. I now know that I will always be able to find you in me. This is our”, she wrote.
Gaëlle Pietri, inconsolable, had also revealed that Gaspard Ulliel's parents had given their consent for their son's organs to be donated to people in need.
A gift dear to the heart of this family: “It was obvious for his parents and me,” she said during her interview for Le Parisien. During this interview, the young woman also revealed a text message heavy with meaning: “The last message I sent him was about a friend whose 4-year-old son with leukemia needed a platelet donation…”, she confides. “Thanks to Gaspard, six people are alive, because the transplants worked. It's real and it's magnificent”.
Heartbreaking confidences for the woman who must now accompany her son in his mourning. Even though Orso is feeling a little better, according to him, he still has to heal his wounds. A difficult daily life for this child who lost his father very young. Fortunately, he can count on the presence of his mother to help him.
