The sad news was announced by the online media ActuLandes.fr. “Maïté whose real name is Marie-Thérèse Ordonez died on the night of Friday 20 to Saturday 21 December“, our colleagues write. The information was then confirmed by the radio station RTL and France 3 Nouvelle Aquitaine.

Maïté having passed away at the end of December, leaves no spouse. Her one and only husband, Jean-Pierre Ordonez, had passed away at the age of 84 in September 2020. His funeral took place in the same church in Rion-des-Landes where his death had been celebrated. their marriage in 1958.
