High school students from Massachusetts, USA, broke into the home of a woman they knew was away to throw a Halloween party.
A group of American teenagers applied on the Airbnb platform to host a party at a house in Nantucket, Massachusetts, valued at €2.3 million.

But their request was rejected by the owner of the premises. The youths then decided to break into the property, as reported by the Washington Post.
The owner, Edith Stone Lentini, residing in New York, was notified of the incident by a call from Nantucket police on Friday, November 1, at approximately 9:50 p.m. “Are you aware that there is a party going on at your house?“, an agent asked her.
Surprised, she quickly made the connection with the initial request on Airbnb. “The police confirmed that this request came from a teenager involved in the organization of the party”, she explained to the American media.
Upon her return, Edith Stone Lentini expected to find her house ransacked. But, against all expectations and apart from a slightly dirty floor, the damage was minimal: furniture had been moved, artwork taken down, and cushions protected by garbage bags.
