Diet Coke dispenser, carpets, portraits, busts… discover the decoration chosen by Donald Trump for the Oval Office

Following his inauguration on Monday, January 20, as head of the United States, Donald Trump obtained the right to move into and therefore decorate the Oval Office as he pleased, the only room he has permission to do so. In fact, it is forbidden to redecorate the other rooms of the White House.

The Oval Office has obviously not changed location, but its decoration has, under Joe Biden. Donald Trump was officially inaugurated as the 47th President of the United States on Monday, and he wants to act quickly.

After signing numerous executive orders as he had announced during his election campaign, the new President of the United States has asked to redecorate the Oval Office at the White House to his taste. Room where he will sit for the next four years.

Busts and portraits

That's not all, he also requested the return of the portrait of the first American president George Washington, as well as the bust of the former British Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. Another bust, that of Martin Luther King, remains in place in the Oval Office. Portraits of Benjamin Franklin, American politician, and Thomas Jefferson, former president of the country, were also requested by the billionaire.

Another detail, the military flags of each branch of the army, which had been removed by the previous administration, have been reinstalled.

Donald Trump also wanted the return of a neutral-colored carpet that Joe Biden had replaced with a blue carpet. Changes made in just a few hours while Joe Biden was still in office.
