Dimitri Boetto: the actor seen in Scènes de ménages arrested for a shocking reason

Dimitri Boetto is currently in the hands of the justice. According to information from Le Parisien, the French actor was arrested on January 1, 2025 by law enforcement at Lyon Saint-Exupéry train station. The intervention allegedly took place around 8 p.m., while he was on a train from Avignon to Marne-la-Vallée. It was the border police and the BAC who allegedly intervened after receiving the order by letter rogatory as part of a judicial investigation opened for murder by the Avignon prosecutor's office.

According to France Bleu, Dimitri Boetto is suspected of having beaten to death his former brother-in-law at the exit of a bar in Apt, in the Vaucluse. A violent fight allegedly broke out the same day around noon, but for the moment the reasons for this altercation are unknown. It was a witness to the scene who allegedly alerted the emergency services after noticing that a man was lying on the ground. The newspaper reports in particular that he had “numerous marks of blows, including a frontal blow to the head.” Transported to the hospital, the victim unfortunately did not survive his injuries.

Dimitri Boetto taken into custody

After some research, the police quickly identified the perpetrator of the blows. It is said to be Dimitri Boetto. The 51-year-old actor was seen in the series “Scènes de mé&eacutenages”. But that's not all: he also starred in the Netflix series “Jusqu’ici tout va bien” in 2023. Arrested, he was thus taken into custody in police custody. “During the first hours, he allegedly acknowledged a family disagreement with his ex-brother-in-law and claimed to be unaware that the latter had succumbed to his injuries.” wrote Le Parisien.

In order to better determine the circumstances of the tragedy, an autopsy took place on Friday, January 3, 2025 in the morning at the Nîmes forensic institute.

Dimitri Boetto has already done prison

Originally from Apt, Dimitri Boetto has reportedly already had difficult relations with the justice system in the past. In May 2023, he confided notably to the YouTube channelSkudmedia that he had already spent time in prison “for several years for criminal association and possession of weapons”. The fifty-year-old, who now lives in Paris, had revealed that he had expressed himself “with the codes of a young male full of testosterone”.
