French triathlon has never won an individual medal at the Olympic Games but had opened its counter at Tokyo in 2021 thanks to the mixed relay.

The male triathletes competing in the Olympic Games will have to wait. The competition was scheduled for this Tuesday morning starting at 8 a.m. The decision was made at following a meeting held last night between the Olympic organisers, the International Triathlon Federation, the IOC and local authorities. “Analyses carried out in the Seine today revealed water quality levels that did not offer sufficient guarantees to allow the “event” to take place. A postponement date has already been set. announced: Wednesday in the wake of the women's event scheduled for 8 a.m. The start of the men's event is now scheduled for 10:45 a.m. Wednesday.
