Lindon Victor, originally from Grenada, will be on the third step for the decathlon.

22:01 – Makenson Gletty obtains a disappointing 12th place

After his 3 attempts Ilionis Guillaume was unable to compete in the rest of the final. His 13.78m were not enough.

21:34 – A real demonstration by Julien Alfred

Sha'carri Richardson and Melissa Jefferson are in silver and bronze with times of 10"87 and 10"92.

Julien Aflred is Olympic champion of the 100 m with a time of 10"72. A demonstration! It's the first Olympic title for Saint Lucia.

The selection of the French team for the Olympics

The final selection of the list of athletes participating in the athletics events will be published on July 8, 2024 (May 14 for the marathon). However, some athletes have already achieved the Olympic minimums and are expected to be included in the list, which allows a maximum of three athletes per discipline. 50% of places will be allocated by the minimums, and 50% via the world ranking.
