Start of the quarter-finals this Tuesday with Jannik Sinner facing Daniel Medvedev. In the first results of the day, Donna Vekic qualified for the semi-finals against Lulu Sun.

While leading 5-3 and serving for the match at 5-4, Daniil Medvedev finally got broken. In the decisive game, the Russian made his experience speak for itself against a weakened Jannik Sinner. The world number 5 is one set away from the feat.

The Russian got broken save two set points on his serve, but manage to get the tie break.

17:23 – Alcaraz gets out of it

At the end of a game lasting more than 10 minutes, Alcaraz manages to win his serve and comes back to three all.

The world number one takes the lead again. He takes advantage of two bad games from Medvedev and stays alive in this set.
