The Madrid club is ahead of Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain, as they were last year. OM and Lyon are the only other French clubs to make it into the Top 20 of this ranking established by the Deloitte firm.
With more than a billion euros in revenue generated in 2023-2024, a record in a single season, Real Madrid still dominates the “Football Money League” of the Deloitte firm, which ranks clubs according to their revenue, with PSG still third with 806 million euros.

The Parisian club welcomed on the one hand “its record and continuous growth” and on the other hand to get closer “to its objective of returning to net profit balance with a significant reduction in losses, going from 110 million euros in 2022/2023 to 60 million euros in 2023/2024”.
Among the 20 clubs generating the most revenue from football are two other representatives of Ligue 1: Marseille, 19th with 287 million euros, and Lyon which, despite its financial problems, appears for the first time in this ranking in 20th place thanks to 264 million euros generated.
In 2025, the clubs of the “Football Money League” reported cumulative revenues of 11.2 billion euros, an increase of 6% compared to the 2022-2023 season. The Deloitte study is based on three sources of income to establish its ranking: ticket sales, TV rights and commercial revenues.

For the second consecutive year, commercial revenues, with 4.9 billion euros generated, constitute the largest share of club revenues. But ticketing is the area with the most significant growth, with 11% more revenue generated compared to last year.
On match days, PSG, despite a lower capacity than other clubs at the Parc des Princes (around 48,000 spectators), reaches an unprecedented level of revenue of 170 million in 2023/2024, placing it in second place, behind Real and its 248 million euros generated in particular thanks to the completion of work on the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.
