DJI hits hard by launching a 4K drone for less than 300 euros

DJI has been increasing its launches in recent days. After a new version of its FPV drone, the DJI Mic 2 and the very first storage batteries, the brand revisits one of its best-sellers with the DJI Mini 4K.

Once is not customary, it is currently sold exclusively on the Amazon website, at the price of 299 euros:

The DJI Mini 4K incorporates most of the features of the DJI Mini 2 SE, the brand's most affordable drone. The main point of differentiation being its ability to film in 4K, compared to 2.7K for the previous model. As the drone weighs less than 249 grams, it does not require any permit to operate. We still remind you that the use of drones is well regulated today, and that you must follow the rules in force. The DJI app explains all of this when setting up the drone.

The DJI Mini 4K is on sale (for now) exclusively on the Amazon website. It is sold with its RC-1 controller, which allows you to use the smartphone as a screen. The announced range is 10 kilometers. As usual, this distance is above all theoretical, and you do not have the right to take advantage of it as you must keep the drone in sight. However, with technology similar to that of more expensive drones from DJI, you are sure to have excellent video feedback without latency in most cases.

All the DJI intelligence in an ultra-compact format

The 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor allows you to capture 4K videos at 30 frames per second, but also film in 2.7K up to 60 frames per second. The 3-axis gimbal allows optical stabilization, and is combined with software stabilization.

Autonomy is also up to standard, with a theoretical flight time of 31 minutes. If you want to get the most out of your flying sessions, you can opt for additional batteries, which are the same as the other Mini models. The manufacturer also offers a Fly More bundle which includes, in addition to the drone and the remote control, a carrying case, 2 additional batteries and a battery charger, in addition to other accessories.

The drone is just as intelligent as the Pro model with the integration of Quickshots (Spiral, Dronie, Rocket, Circle and Boomerang), automatic shooting modes.
