“Positive signals” for Russia

According to anonymous sources of the Washington Post, the two men reportedly discussed the goal of peace on the European continent. Donald Trump has reportedly said he hopes to set up follow-up talks to discuss “resolving the war in Ukraine soon.” During his election campaign, the Republican said he would end the war “within a day” if he returned to the White House, but never specified how.

On Sunday, the Kremlin said Trump had sent “positive signals” about the conflict, as he has not shown any signs of of “willingness to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia”.
