The decree of December 16, 2024 published in the official journal of December 21, 2024 recognizes the state of natural disaster for five Gard municipalities, for a phenomenon of floods and mudslides, indicates Monday, December 23 the Gard prefecture.

For the day of October 17, 2024, the municipality of Chambon is concerned.

For the period from October 15, 2024 to October 17, 2024, Chamborigaud and Génolhac.

For the day of October 8, 2024, La Grand-Combe.

For the period from October 17, 2024 to October 18, 2024, Saint-Julien-de-Peyrolas.

Ground movements

The decree of December 17, 2024 published in the official journal of December 21, 2024 also recognizes the state of natural disaster for 2 Gard municipalities, for a phenomenon of differential ground movements following drought and rehydration of the soil (in 2023).

For the period from April 1, 2023 to June 30, 2023: Caveirac and Sauve.

Disaster victims have a maximum period of 30 days from the date of publication of this decree in the Official Journal to make their declaration to their insurance company(ies).
