Thursday, January 2, 2025, in TV Mag's Le Grand Buzz TV, Nagui explained: “I already produced and hosted Intervilles with the cows, in 2005-2006 and I saw a cow die on the set during rehearsals. A few days earlier, in the columns of France Dimanche, the former host Simone Garnier had ranted about this subject. “Intervilles is a formula that cannot age with competitors of the same sporting level who face each other in an atmosphere full of fun. Even if Nagui wants to eliminate the cows for fear that they will be hurt, I can assure you that at the time, they did not suffer at all.It was rather they who made bruises on the hindlegs”, she had said.

Nagui: “We don't need that”

Saturday, November 16, 2024, in an interview with Ouest-France, the emblematic host of N’oubliez pas les paroles had already émentioned the non-presence of cows in the next interville season. “We don't need that. Already because there are no more animals in television shows today. Because we know their sensitivity to noise and crowds, their discomfort… Not to mention the risk of injury to the humans in front too”, he had underlined.

While many cult events will be present, Nagui had added: “The whirlpools, the swimming pools, the tug-of-war… The classics will all be there!
