Passe la seconde is back at Polygone for the holidays. After the ground floor last year, the pop-up store has taken up a smaller space upstairs next to Sephora. The recycling and reuse association, which has about twenty members in total in the region, offers responsible gifts for Christmas. All the objects, furniture and clothing of the seven exhibitors are made from recycled materials or come second-hand.

Scraps of fabric, leather or plastic

Each of the four designers exhibits her ethical and unique collection. Marlène diverts plastic caps to create jewelry and small accessories for the home. The transformation of this multi-colored industrial waste is amazing. The advantage: the lightness of the jewelry, especially appreciable for the earrings. Victoria works with leather scraps from major leather goods houses. Crowned with the label of art artisan, this Nîmes native designs and laser cuts leather and wood to make amazing jewelry, brooches and bow ties. Céline breathes new life into cotton sheets or towels by transforming them into jewelry and other accessories. Anne, with her daughter Eliane, make bags, fanny packs and pouches from recycled fabrics. Perfect finish and originality guaranteed.

Second-hand clothes at affordable prices

There are three of them, on the second-hand side. Audrey offers impeccable clothes, with a selection for the holidays, at very affordable prices. Children are not forgotten with the collection offered by Ludivine. Finally, Marie-Céline is a hit with her retro furniture from the 50s and 60s, not to mention the tableware. Limoges dishes and crystal glasses are selling like hotcakes.

The store will close its doors on December 23. No more waiting to find a gift like no other in the heart of Polygone.

Open every day from 10am to 8pm, closed on Sundays at 7pm. Polygone, Montpellier. I subscribe to read more
