Elections to the Chamber of Agriculture: farmers at campaign meeting in Béziers

More than 200 farmers, including members of the National Federation of Farmers' Unions (FNSEA) and Young Farmers (JA) gathered at the Raoul-Barrière stadium for a final campaign meeting ahead of the elections to the Hérault Chamber of Agriculture.

This Thursday late afternoon, at the Raoul-Barrière stadium, members of the National Federation of Farmers' Unions (FNSEA), the Young Farmers (JA), the Independent Winegrowers and the Federation of Cooperative Cellars of Hérault held a final campaign meeting in preparation for the elections to the department's chamber of agriculture.

About forty candidates

About forty candidates in the various colleges were presented. Hervé Lapie, the general secretary of the FNSEA, Marion Pisani, member of the national office of the JA participated in this campaign meeting.

Voters have already started to receive their voting materials. They have until January 31 to vote by mail or online. The election count will take place on February 6
