After twelve seasons of treading the floor of “Dancing with the Stars”, Maxime Dereymez is leaving his place for season 14, well almost… As he confided in the columns of Closer magazine, he is not in the cast of the 2025 edition. And even if he had wanted to and everything was ready on his side, it is on the side of the stars that not everything went well as planned…

“My employment contract was ready. Unluckily, my partner withdrew at the last minute. Out of respect for her, I will not tell you her identity, but I can tell you that our duo would have been fantastic.” revealed Maxime Dereymez.

But then, why didn't the show's production do everything to find a partner for the dancer ? The main person interested himself asked the question. “SAccording to the production, no other profile matched mine. I don't seek to know more. And then, sincerely, it's a blessing in disguise. I'm very tired as my nights are short with the rehearsals of Bnone Nouvelle. My loved ones are worried about my health.” specified Maxime Dereymez.

Despite his absence, the professional dancer only remembers the good from his adventure. “I lived exceptional moments with Keiona, last year. And yet, it was far from simple to dance with someone bigger, stronger, but the pictures we composed are among the most beautiful, all seasons combined. I even think that this will be my last season. You have to evolve, move on to something else.” he added.

In twelve seasons, Maxime Dereymez has walked the dance floor with the following personalities: Sofia Essaïdi and Shy'm, with whom he won the trophy, Estelle Lefébure, Laury Thilleman, Tonya Kinzinger, Sophie Vouzelaud, Caroline Receveur, Arielle Dombasle, Pamela Anderson, Clara Morgane, Lââm and Keiona.
