Patients, visiteurs et professionnels doivent de nouveau porter un masque dans les services de soin de l’établissement de santé.

While the Covid-19 epidemic has become, for many, a distant memory, the surgical mask is well and truly back. The Thau Basin Hospitals announced on their social networks on Friday, January 17, that wearing a mask is now mandatory in all its care services, for patients, visitors and professionals. A measure “put in place to guarantee the safety of all in the face of the increased risks of transmission of winter viruses and other infections”, it is thus indicated. All users are therefore invited to come with their mask or to ask for one at reception if necessary.

Hospital under pressure system

According to the latest weekly bulletin published on Wednesday by Santé Publique France, the flu epidemic is indeed intensifying in France and is generating “very high hospital activity”. The Thau Basin Hospitals have also set up a “hospital under pressure” system until January 20 to deal with epidemics and the emergency situation.
