Favorite village of the French 2024: Collioure winner, the ranking in images

VILLAGE PRÉFÉRÉ OF THE FRENCH. Collioure, located in the Occitanie region, was designated "Favorite villageé of the Frenchçais" of the year 2024 by Stéphane Bern on France 3. Discover the ranking of the competitors.

[Mis à day July 11, 2024 11:46 p.m.] The 13th edition of the "Village favouriteé of the Frenchçais" crowned the village of Collioure in Occitanie. Among the 14 French candidates (13 in mainland France, 1 in Overseas), Collioure is ahead of the villages of Mers-les-Bains in Hauts-de-France and Villeréal in New Aquitaine and becomes the first commune in the region department of the Pyrenees-Orientales & win the trophy for the "Favorite Villageé of the Frenchçais" awarded by host Stéphane Bern on France 3.

The village of Collioure with its authentic charm in the Catalan country led by its bay the turquoise water, surrounded by terraced vineyards, its small port and its Catalan boats, its narrow streets of the Mouré with its colorful houses. All its lights and colors inspired the painters Matisse, Picasso, Derain and Braque. Discover the village and the classification in images.

The media exposure to which the candidate villages are subject has certain repercussions in terms of tourist attendance. &quot ;The real wealth of these territories is also the people who live and work there. We promote territories by showing tangible heritage, with buildings, and intangible heritage such as local specialties" underlined Stéphane Bern à Paris Match. Voting was open from February 19, 2024 to September 19, 2024. 10 a.m. to March 8, 2024 11:59 p.m., date of the election of the "preferred Village& of the Frenchçais". Viewers could vote for their favorite village. among the 14 in the running, online or by telephone at 3245, by typing the village number (from 1 to 14). The vote was taken made public during the 13th edition of the program presented by St&phane Bern on France 3, the July 11, 2024.
