The Lebrun family maintains special ties with the Ascl-Tennis table tennis club in Saint-Christol-lèz-Alès.

It is the referee Denis Jeauneau and the president Olivier Floutier who recall Félix Lebrun's first visit to the sports center: he got noticed there at the age of 10. Félix arrives today with his family, except for his father Stéphane Lebrun, former French No. 7, absent for health reasons, his uncle Christophe, former world No. 14 and director of competitions for the French Table Tennis Federation, drove him.

This ceremony retains a family character. But it did not escape the joy of the dozens of young table tennis players who have their racket, case or even their table tennis ball signed. Jean-Charles Bénézet, mayor of Saint-Christol-lez-Alès and architect of this first, with Olivier Floutier, president of Ascl-Tennis de table, recalled the legendary places where the Lebrun Brothers distinguished themselves, this Salle Félix Lebrun will open the way to the Lebrun generation since it is with Alexis his brother that they form the best pair in the world.

After receiving the National Medal of Merit at the age of 18, Félix received the Saint-Christol-lez-Alès Medal on December 29.
