The hostess was fined 1,900 euros, and her colleague, who had only slightly exceeded the authorized limit, was fined 275 euros. They have both been suspended and could still be fired.

“Delta's alcohol policy is among the strictest in the sector and we have zero tolerance for any violations. The employees were suspended and the flight took off as scheduled,” the company said in a statement.
