Discover the 2024 list of cities in bloom in Aveyron.
The end of the year coincides with the reveal of the new list of winners of the competition for flowering and development of the living environment. A ceremony welcoming all the winners of the 2024 edition took place at the departmental cultural center in Rodez at the end of December.
Three flowers for seven municipalities
Around forty municipalities were rewarded during this 2024 edition. Seven of them won the three flowers, compared to eight for the two flowers and eight for one flower. Five of them won first place in their respective categories. The jury also awarded three encouragement prizes.
The development and lighting of the environment are selective criteria. Proposed by the Department, the competition highlights the aesthetic effort made by each of the participating municipalities.
The criteria taken into account to appear on the list concern the development and lighting of the environment which can promote the well-being of the inhabitants and facilitate the reception of tourists.

Communes labeled three flowers: Bozouls, Espalion, Millau, Rignac, Rodez, Saint-Hippolyte, Villefranche-de-Rouergue.
Two flowers: Cransac-les-Thermes, Le Bas-Segala-Saint-Salvadou, Le Fel, Le Nayrac, Naucelle, Olemps, Saint-Geniez-d’Olt-et-d’Aubrac, Sébrazac.
A flower: Broquiès, Brommat, Entraygues-sur-Truyère, Conques-en-Rouergue, Luc-la-Primaube, Muret-le-Château, Saint-Côme-d’Olt, Villeneuve-d’Aveyron.
First category, municipalities of less than 350 inhabitants: 1st prize: Pruines; 2nd prize: Espeyrac
3rd prize: Montclar. Encouragement prize: Montsalès.
Second category, from 351 to 500 inhabitants: 1st prize: Villecomtal; 2nd prize: Foissac; Special Prize: Sainte-Eulalie-d’Olt.
Third category, from 501 to 700 inhabitants: 1st prize: Taussac; 2nd prize: Lacroix-Barrez; 3rd prize: Saint-Santin.
Fourth category, from 701 to 1,000 inhabitants: 1st prize: La Bastide-l’Évêque (Le Bas-Ségala); 2nd prize: Mur-de-Barrez; 3rd prize: Saint-Laurent d’Olt
Fifth category, from 1,001 to 3,000 inhabitants: 1st prize: Flagnac; 2nd prize: Bertholène 3rd prize: Rivière-sur-Tarn. Encouragement prize: Creissels
Sixth category, more than 3,000 inhabitants: encouragement prize in Onet-le-Château.
