En match en retard de la 7e journée du championnat national U17, Nîmes Olympique a disposé aisément de la lanterne rouge, la JS Ajaccio, pour renouer avec la victoire à domicile et sortir de la zone rouge.

The Nîmes team took advantage of their delayed match against a very weak Ajaccio team, more than ever bottom of the table (15 matches, 15 defeats, 73 goals conceded) to win again at home, something they had not done since a prestigious victory against the leaders Saint-Etienne at the end of September (3-2).

Four goals, and four posts!

With more success in front of goal, the score could have been much wider. In less than twenty minutes, the Crocodiles hit all the opposing posts: a classy technical move by Elyazidi sent back by the bar (4th), the outside of Conde's right foot on the left post (5th), and Bouakel's attempt on the right (19th). In the meantime, Elyazidi, by deflecting a cross, had opened the score (1-0, 6th).

The technical sheet

Nîmes Olympique 4 – JS Ajaccio 0
La Bastide (synthetic).
Half-time: 2-0.
Referee: M.Lévêque.
Goals for Nîmes : Elyazidi (6th), Baron Aldin (22nd), Benkeda (82nd), Delsaut Sanchez (90th + 1).
Warning à Nîmes : Benchemloul (66th).
Warning à Ajaccio: Quilichini (coach, 50th).

By insisting, Nîmes quickly doubled the lead, Alberto's corner being taken at the 2nd post by Baron Aldin, strangely alone (2-0, 22nd). Bouakel's clumsiness (34th) and Bentahar's save (37th) did not allow the nail to be hammered home before the break.

Léo Delsaut Sanchez closed the scoring and the Nîmes victory at the end of the game (4-0). MIDI LIBRE – ERIC DOLADILLE

The second half started like the first, with another post, this time from Benkeda (47th). The captain ended up scoring from a direct free kick (3-0, 82nd) before Delsaut Sanchez completed the win (90th + 1). NO, now 11th, is no longer relegated!
