Olivier Dall’Oglio is no longer the coach of AS Saint-Étienne. The Saint-Etienne club announced on its social networks that he had been “relieved of his duties as coach of the professional team as of today. Until further notice, the supervision of the professional team will be provided by Laurent Huard, director of the ASSE training center”.

The 60-year-old native of Cévennes will have spent a year at the head of the Saint-Etienne club since he arrived on December 12, 2023 to replace Laurent Battles. He had allowed the Greens to return to Ligue 1 after the play-offs last spring.

Only four wins in fifteen matches

The former Montpellier coach (June 2021-February 2022) had a complicated start to the season with Saint-Étienne with only four wins in fifteen matches and a play-off position. On Friday, ASSE lost to Toulouse (2-1).
