After the vain efforts, a little comfort. Despite the new defeat in Aubagne, Saturday (2-0), the fourth in the last six days of the championship, players and staff responded to the invitation of the CCS (Central Supporters Club), Monday evening at the Bastide training center, for the traditional galette des rois.
200% Deposit Bonus up to €3,000 180% First Deposit Bonus up to $20,000Joël Mercier, the president of the association, showed the team both his support and his expectations: “We are not desperate, we love you, we will get there. We have to hang on. And work our socks off because, as you know, that is the principle of the Nîmes. Going down, going up, it's the ball”.
Waly Diouf: “We're struggling a bit on the pitch, that warms our hearts…”
The Crocos are 15th out of 17, not relegated thanks to the particularly favorable goal average over Versailles (16th, beaten 1-0 in September). Captain Formose Mendy being excused for family reasons, it was Waly Diouf who spoke on behalf of the group: “Thank you for your attention, it's tradition, it touches us, us players. We struggle a little on the field, it warms our hearts. We can't wait to get back on the path to victory”.
Simon Ngapandouetnbu and Guillaume Bouisset honored
After dedicating the evening to Alain Avon, a supporter who recently died of cancer at the age of 75, Joël Mercier offered two gifts of which he has the secret, frames representing the crocodile emblem and made from thousands of matches or small fancy diamonds. The first was for Simon Ngapandouetnbu, the goalkeeper loaned by OM, because “when we created the CCS in Nîmes 34 years ago, it was thanks to Jacques Pélissier, the president of the CCS of OM, who allowed me to take the same name. And I wanted to thank Simon for what he does for Nîmes, because we can see that he wants it, and that's not always the case for players on loan”, justified Mercier.
Three-match suspension for Marwane Hermach
“It makes me very happy, it touches me. I'm going to put it in my salon”, confided the goalkeeper. Guillaume Bouisset, NO's operational manager, was also honored. “I've been at the club for 8 years, and I finally have my Crocodile!”, appreciated the manager.
The Crocos will go by bus to Châteauroux, bottom of the table (match Friday, January 24 at 7:30 p.m.). Still without Marwane Hermach, sent off against Nancy and suspended for 3 games. I subscribe to read the rest
