Since December 17, the owners of the homes have been able to move into the media village that was used during the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Dugny, north of Paris. According to BFMTV, no fewer than forty owners of these homes are complaining about poor workmanship and unsanitary conditions.

Mold, water leaks,…

Among them, Alamine, father of a family, who testifies. “I have a roller shutter that has been cut with a grinder, I have all the handles on my doors where it is not the right lock, they are too small”. He also talks about water leaks, humidity and mold in his home. “Humidity and mold are very big problems, I I still have two babies. For me, it's unacceptable.”

Facing him, Laurent Dukeyne, director of the company Amétis, who built the Olympic village, admits that “there are two, three subjects that are a little unpleasant, but we are present; we are here” .

While the company was contacted by the mayor of Dugny, Laurent Dukeyne explains that “it's not because they are unhappy that we are not taking care of them. We will continue to follow them so that, in the end, they are satisfied.” The company promises to begin interventions in the coming days .
